Southeast Petro-Food Show Recap!
At Campbell Oil Company, we believe in staying at the forefront of industry trends and innovations. That’s why we were thrilled to have employees from Minuteman Food Mart and Campbell Oil Company attended the Southeast Petro-Food Show, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina a few weeks ago.
The Southeast Petro-Food show is a two-day trade show and exposition that features the latest in retail and petroleum technology and marketing, educational seminars, and networking with industry leaders from throughout the region. From networking opportunities to discovering the latest products and services, our experience at the show was extremely valuable. Keep reading as we share our insights and highlights from this exciting event.
One of the highlights of the Southeast Petro Food Show was the opportunity to explore a wide range of products and services tailored to the convenience store industry. From snacks and beverages to technology solutions and marketing services, there was something for everyone! Think fun brands and snacks like Coca-Cola products, Pepsi products, Alani Nu, Celsius, Pizza, Mac and Cheese, cakes and cookies, breakfast sandwiches — basically any kind of drink or snack you can find at a convenience store + more! Networking is essential in any industry, and the Southeast Petro Food Show provided the perfect platform for connecting with peers, suppliers, and potential business partners. Our team engaged in meaningful conversations, exchanged ideas, and built valuable relationships that will benefit our business in the future. Whether it was sharing best practices with fellow industry professionals or discussing potential collaborations with suppliers, the networking opportunities were endless.
Campbell Oil Company was also showcased at the show through our very own booth! We had employees representing our different departments and showcased our offerings from transportation, short truck fuels, lubricants, wholesale fuels, propane, and more. Our booth offered attendees branded hats, toothpicks, car coasters, pens, and more! We also had a giveaway for a Turtlebox that guests could enter to win. It was a great two days talking and networking to current and potential customers and business partners!
We asked Senior Category Leader, Kathy Williams, about her experience at the SE Petro Show. Kathy was asked why she attended the SE Petro Show, what her favorite part of the show is, and why she feels it’s important for her role to go. Hear from her below:
“Attending the Petro show serves as a vital opportunity for me to explore potential new suppliers and products while nurturing existing vendor relations. The show also gives me the chance to make decisions about our product mix, promotions, and placement, shaping the direction of our company/stores. Vendor relations are important, as our success hinges on the partnerships we’ve cultivated over the years. These relationships are built on trust and collaboration, ensuring that we can effectively meet the needs of our customers and maintain our competitive edge. Without strong vendor partnerships, we wouldn’t be able to achieve our goals or deliver the quality and variety our customers expect. Thus, attending events like the Petro show is essential for me in my role, enabling me to strengthen these vital connections and drive our company forward.”
Thanks, Kathy! What we do wouldn’t be possible without you!
Attending the Southeast Petro Food Show was an incredible experience for our team at Campbell Oil Company.
